Pickleball Court Booking

Privacy notice

How we handle your personal information when you book a court.

Who we are

Pickleball Court Booking is an online booking service used by pickleball venues. When you book, the venue you book with uses your information to manage your booking, and we run the website that collects it on the venue's behalf.

What we collect

  • Your details: name, mobile number and email address.
  • Your booking: the courts, dates, times and add-ons you choose, and the amount due.
  • Payment proof: the GCash receipt screenshot you upload. We never ask for your GCash PIN, password or card details.
  • Open play: your name, and optionally your mobile number, DUPR ID and email, plus the games you play and their scores. Your name is shown on that night's courts board; your mobile number and email never are. Your DUPR ID and scores go into the results file the organizer uploads to DUPR.
  • Technical information: your device's internet (IP) address, used briefly to stop spam and abuse.

Why we use it

  • To hold and confirm your court booking and check your payment.
  • To send you booking emails (on hold, confirmed, or not confirmed) and contact you about your booking.
  • To run open play: the waiting line, who plays next, and reporting results to DUPR. Returning players are recognised by mobile number or DUPR ID.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent fake bookings.

We use your information based on your consent and because we need it to provide the booking you asked for. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who can see it

  • The venue's owner and staff (only for bookings at their venue). Payment screenshots can only be viewed by them after logging in.
  • At open play, everyone at the session sees your name on the courts board, and the organizer sees your name and DUPR ID. Results you play are reported to DUPR.
  • Service providers that help us run the site, such as our web host and email delivery service, only as needed to provide their service.
  • Government authorities, only when required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide the booking and for the venue's legitimate record-keeping (for example, accounting). You can ask us to delete your information sooner, unless we are required by law to keep it.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), you have the right to be informed, to access your information, to have it corrected, to object, to have it erased or blocked, to data portability, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

How we protect it

The site uses encrypted connections (https). Payment screenshots are stored privately and are never publicly visible. Access to booking details is limited to the venue's logged-in owner and staff.

Contact us

For questions or requests about your information, contact the venue you booked with. For anything about a specific booking, you can also reply to any of your booking emails.
